Worcester Students’ Union (WSU), like most SU’s in the country, is a registered charity (no.1145192) and so has a Trustee Board. The Trustee Board is responsible for ensuring that the SU is run effectively, is financially sustainable, and operates always in the interest of students.
WSU’s Trustee Board consists of:
- The 3 elected full time officers (President - who is the Chair of the Board, Vice President Education, and Vice President Student Activities)
- Up to 3 External Trustees (professionals from all walks of life)
- Up to 4 Student Trustees (registered students of the University)
WSU has a vacancy for a Student Trustee and is looking for a Worcester student to take on this role, which is for up to 2 years (final year students are hence not eligible to apply).
It you want to speak to someone more about this opportunity, please feel free to contact Jade Haley, WSU President, on jade.haley@worc.ac.uk
You can find more general information about WSU, our Constitution and charitable aims, and the role of the Board at http://www.worcsu.com/yourunion/aboutwsu/
Please send your completed application form to s.fiaz@worc.ac.uk.
Student staff employed by the Students' Union cannot apply to be trustees.
