As a society, we endeavour to not only discuss and share ideas around Socialist/leftwing politics but also campaign on issues that directly affect the diverse student body here at Worcester. We are committed to building an open, welcoming community where students from any background can unite to further our ideals of equality, solidarity and liberty. For us, this means that students should not just be free to express themselves but importantly for true freedom, the economic conditions facing a student should never be a barrier to education and community.
We also hold socials for members to get to know each other, without all the serious political discussion, because everyone needs to let their hair down! These socials are varied so that everyone can feel involved, we don't want members to feel unable to attend due to inaccessible events, not everyone enjoys being out on the town. These will range from Film showings to Quizzes, events with other societies and more!
Every Wednesday 2:30 PM-4:30 PM - The topic or activity varies weekly, so keep an eye on our Instagram for information!
