Welcome to Parasoc! 

We’re a society built for anyone with an interest in paramedicine, healthcare, or simply learning how to save a life. Our aim is to help students develop their knowledge and skills around paramedicine, while also making sure we all get a chance to unwind, have fun, and support each other away from placements and uni work.

We also work hard to teach life-saving skills to other students, staff, and the wider public, because you never know when those skills might make a difference.

Whether you’re studying Paramedic Science, Foundation Healthcare, Nursing, Midwifery, Psychology, or any other healthcare-related course, you’re welcome at ParaSoc. We’re proud to have members from a wide range of backgrounds and disciplines, creating a space where everyone with an interest in healthcare can come together, learn new skills, and support each other.

We’re proud to say Parasoc has been recognised as one of Worcester Student Unions’s Best Society, winning Society of the Year  three years in a row, alongside numerous other awards for our commitment to professional development and charity fundrasing!

We want our members to help shape what we do. That means socials, CPD events and campaigns. It’s all led by what our members want to see. We’ll have regular committee meetings throughout the year to plan events, and we’re always keen to hear your ideas.
