Worcester Students’ Union exists to represent students’ views, making sure that your experience is the best it can be. One of the key ways we do this is through Course Reps and Department Reps who gather their fellow students’ views about various aspects of their studies and student life in general. They communicate this feedback to staff members and suggest solutions to bring about change. Their work ensures that all students can influence and shape the course they study and enhance the learning experience for current and future students.
Your elected Officer Team are the primary contact within the SU for Course and Department Reps and are responsible for promoting and supporting the academic representation system.
If you have any questions, please do email the team on studentreps@worc.ac.uk.
How do I become a Course Rep?
Your Course Leader will organise a Course Rep election by the end of week 4 of your academic calendar. If you are thinking of standing for the role, we recommend that you speak to your Course Leader before the Course Rep elections take place. During the election, candidates will explain why they would like to take on the role and then your course mates will vote by way of secret ballot.
If you have any questions or if you are not sure who your Course Leader is, please email us at studentreps@worc.ac.uk.
