Our Green Impact and Responsible Futures accreditations highlight our dedication to continuous improvement, positively impacting the environment, and supporting responsible choices for our members.

Green Impact is a nationally recognised environmental accreditation scheme, designed to encourage and support organisations in improving their environmental performance. The purpose of Green Impact is to help organisations make measurable improvements in areas such as waste management, energy consumption, sustainable transport, and overall environmental responsibility. At Worcester Students’ Union, we take part in the Green Impact program every other year, working through a series of actions to reduce our environmental footprint and improve our sustainability practices.

Responsible Futures is an accreditation program focused on promoting sustainability within student organisations. It aims to embed sustainability into every aspect of student life, including education, campus operations, and student-led initiatives. Responsible Futures challenges us to integrate sustainability into our activities, policies, and engagement efforts, ensuring we help create a more socially responsible campus. We collaborate closely with the University on the Responsible Futures accreditation, working together to embed sustainability across all areas of student life, from education to campus operations.
