Worcester Students’ Union recognises the importance of sustainability in fostering a healthier and more equitable future for our planet and its inhabitants.

As an organisation representing the student body, we are committed to minimising our environmental footprint, promoting sustainable practices, and fostering a culture of environmental stewardship among our members. Our sustainability policy is supported by detailed guidance documents that align specific activities with these goals.

Student Voice and Sustainability

At Worcester Students' Union, we put student voice at the heart of our decision-making, offering plenty of ways for students to share their ideas, feedback, and shape what we do.

🌳 Students elect sabbatical officers who lead on sustainability initiatives.
🌳 We host an Ideas Forum where students can submit suggestions.
🌳 Students can respond to the SOS Skills Survey to share their sustainability experiences.
🌳 Student groups help review and provide feedback on sustainability documents.
🌳 All student groups have dedicated sustainability sessions to share views and suggestions.
🌳 All members are invited to our yearly All Student Meeting.
🌳 We maintain a feedback and intelligence log to capture student input.

Let’s grow together 🌱
